Independent service
CiteNet registers public references and user-supplied metadata. It is independent of Xiaohongshu and does not claim endorsement by any social platform.
Responsible contributions
Submit accurate, limited metadata and links to public posts. Do not submit full copyrighted works, private information, abusive content, spam, fabricated evidence, passwords or identity documents. You remain responsible for the material you contribute.
Attribution and ownership
Registering a post does not establish authorship or ownership. Creator claims require administrator review. Confirmation acknowledges attribution, not the truth, quality or scientific accuracy of a post. The database is incomplete and statistics reflect registered public records only.
Corrections and moderation
Use Report incorrect information on posts or creator pages to request corrections, dispute attribution, report abuse or request removal. Administrators may restrict visibility, remove citations, reject claims or review account deletion requests. Relevant changes are retained in an audit trail.
Availability and external links
This beta may change or be temporarily unavailable. External links lead to services with their own rules and privacy practices. CiteNet does not download or redistribute original post media.
